1350 Litre Single Skin Oil Tank
A steel single skin bulk liquid storage tank with 1350 litres (297 Galls) capacity.
This tank is suitable for the storage of heating oil, kerosene, diesel, waste oils and many other liquids.
They are manufactured to the highest standards and conform to BS799 pt5 type J. The thickness of the steel used varies with tank size and all tanks are pressure tested before they leave our workshop. They are supplied with one coat primer and one top coat which is normally green in colour as standard. It is possible however to request any colour you like at no extra cost.
They are also very good at deterring the would be opportunist in oil theft which is very much on the rise currently.
The following features come as standard with the tank:
- 2" fill point
- 1" bottom outlet
- 1.5" top port for a contents gauge
- 3/4" bottom drain port
Optional extras include:
- Top outlet to replace bottom outlet (please contact our sales office if this option is required)
- Apollo Sonic contents gauge or...
- Clock face gauge
- Bottom outlet fitting kit
Full installation instructions are supplied with the tank and we recommend a base size which extends 300mm all the way round the tank.
Example: if the tank dimensions were 2000mm length x 1500mm width - we would recommend a base size of 2600mm length x 2100mm width.

We guarantee these steel tanks for 12 months from manufacture however, with good care and maintenance you will be able to expect a lifetime in excess of 20 years! They are extremely robust and very resilient and are able to withstand the most extreme conditions from the elements.
This tank must be installed by a qualified person such as an OFTEC engineer with current certification in order to obtain your full guarantee.
In any event, it must be installed correctly and according to local building control regulations.
